Memphis

Revisited

Memphis Revisited is inspired by the Memphis design aesthetic, the postmodern design movement from the 1980s.

In collaboration with AI in 2022, the work features a range of generated textures created using the input of the artist's own work. The series features pastel coloured architectural shapes in various arrangements.

The texture series has been exhibited in a variety of ways, with the most recent showcase at KEPK gallery in Brisbane, April 2025.

This iteration of the work featured a chiffon printed hanging with AR experience through mobile device.

These textures have been experimented with to create a gallery of 3D shapes for the MESH exhibition in Decentraland for Metaverse Art Week, July 2023, along with AR and physical based exhibition pieces coming soon.
